We’re promoting the idea that companies publish their reports, data, and metadata in a way that can be properly indexed. Jason Schenker: Businesses have an incredible opportunity to leverage data to their advantage, but only if they can harness the power of that data to yield real, valuable, and actionable insights. This course examines some of the hottest trends in data, including The Internet of Things, Machine Learning, Data Visualization, and Big Data. The Future of Data explains what these terms mean, and how they could impact you. This course also illustrates proper data collection and analysis process management, and how to effectively present your data.

Open Data and Our Net Zero Future – The Future Now Show

Data should be as open as possible, while protecting people’s privacy, commercial confidentiality and national security. Data from multiple organisations is needed to address challenges and the data needs to be accessible. Open Net Zero is a starting point for net-zero data infrastructure built to address commercial, non-commercial, government and public needs. It is designed to help make net-zero data discoverable, accessible and usable. There is substantial Open Data related to net zero (e.g. company disclosures) and we aim to make this far more discoverable than it is today.  However, much of the data needed to drive net-zero decisions is not opnly licensed or free for anyone to use. We aim to make this data more discoverable. To address restricted usage, we are building a Trust Framework for data sharing — enabling Shared Data to be discovered and licensed at scale.

But whether or not we have chosen the path we’re on, we can always choose how we walk it. As for me, I chose to simplify my lifestyle, to find a different road, one which ironically led me to riches of greater worth than I could have imagined.“A road where the obstacles were many but never insurmountable. A road of compassion that left me with a peaceful heart. A road that led me far and wide but took me right where I belonged. My chosen path, “My silk road”. Laura Liswood: “Companies are ultimately looking for increased creativity, better ideas, and multiple perspectives, so they will in fact benefit from diversity. However, we will see that achieving this takes much more effort than merely assembling a workplace that looks like Noah’s ark.”

The main issues facing the world today all require multiple and integrated approaches that involve both scientific and humanistic perspectives. Real world problems, such as climate change, poverty, unequal distribution of wealth, global health, etc., do not fall neatly within disciplinary boundaries. Addressing these global challenges requires new avenues in research and education.” Zeng Yuqun, also known as Robin Zeng, is a Chinese billionaire entrepreneur. He is the founder and chairman of CATL:“The era of new energy has come, but there are still many challenges under certain opportunities. Only by adapting to changes and advancing with the times can we keep the success. We should work together to embrace the great change and contribute to carbon neutrality and global new energy industry.”
