"…A variety of applications for fullerenes have been suggested, some of which are actively being developed. We are now seeing a very rapid decline in price, which is expected to continue down to a hundredth or less of current costs over the next few years. This may open the door to a host of other applications, such as composite materials, fullerene-based polymers, or organic solar cells…"
